Wisconsin Cycling Association

Due to a conflict with another popular Wisconsin race, it was decided to hold the Chiropractic Partners Time Trial on July 11th. It will take place in the Town of Waukesha;, the start will be behind Waukesha West High School. Then race participants will travel southwest on Hwy I and turn around just prior to Hwy 83 for a total of 12 miles. Hwy I is a fast, smooth, scenic piece of roadway with one climb and a few rollers. A detailed map link will be available soon on the Chiropractic Partners Website. Registration opens at 7:30am and closes at 10:30am. A discounted race fee of $17 is being offered for Junior racers.

Thanks to our friends at Defeet, WCA has its own custom Aireator cycling sock! This is a very limited supply and orders can be placed by filling out and emailing this order form to WCA. Socks are $10/pair.

The Badger Velo training crits at the Washington County Fairgrounds have been canceled. Based on turnout, 26 total riders for 2 events, the race promoter has determined that it is not feasible to put on the races for such a low number of riders. Races that had been scheduled for July 1st and July 8th are canceled.

The Milwaukee Junior Cycling Team, a Milwaukee Public Schools summer and after-school program, is seeking donations of used frames and other equipment.

The program is especially in need of used frames from 54 to 60 cm. Other needed items include new or used helmets and sunglasses. Other items, including shoes and cycling clothing, also are welcome.
