The 150 lap
Bob Pfarr Classic was hotly contested by 32 racers. In this hotly contested
race, over half of the participants were able to score sprint points.
Slightly under half-way into the race 11 riders escaped and took a lap
on the remainder of the field. This group of escape artists included Stathy
Toulumas - Vision Quest who would prove to be the premier sprinter in
the event. However, Randy Warren - XXX, Eric Hollenbeck - DeWalt and Damon
Rinard - Brazen Dropouts joined forces to distance themselves from the
competition with yet another lap gained. Randy Warren’s consistent
placings and distance on the field allowed him to secure a well-earned
victory.
